Brooks & Associates Consulting Engineers (BACE structural) formed on January 1st 2020 after serving clients as the TN branch office of Woods Engineering since 2012.
BACE provides structural engineering design services for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential projects. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our clients needs and determine the best solution for difficult problems while guiding the clients decisions to best meet the project budget and schedule. We specialize in “outside-the-box” solutions. Our project portfolio includes an extensive list of adaptive reuse projects, innovative building materials, and complex specialty structures. In addition to pushing the envelope on design, our construction documents are primarily generated using detailed 3D models. Our staff is well versed in coordination and implementation of fully integrated Revit models. BACE structural is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise and Women Owned Small Business.
About the Owner
Rebecca Brooks was raised on Signal Mountain and currently lives in Hixson, TN with her husband Eric and sons JD and Ward. After graduating with her Bachelor of Science (2006) and Master of Science (2008) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Engineering, she moved to Wilmington, NC to start her career at Woods Engineering. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects throughout the south east gaining valuable experience in steel, concrete, masonry and wood design. After opening the branch office for Woods Engineering in Chattanooga, TN in January of 2012, Rebecca Brooks, purchased the branch office and will continue serving our loyal clientele as Brooks & Associates Consulting Engineers (BACE structural).
